Cleansing the colon is a massive gift you can bestow upon your body. Although, there are some side effects that come along with it. I compare this cleansing to a drug addict, going through withdraws. For, our body isn’t used to this, and it has to adjust to the colon cleansing process.

Most individuals, eat junk, doesn’t drink enough water, or have a healthy diet. Therefore, when we put our body through the cleansing process, it can actually bring the toxins, out, in order to get rid of them.

Just think of the last time you were sick, when you actually felt worse, before you felt better. This is no exception to the rule, and before you can feel better, your body must release all the toxins, and harmful bacteria that has accumulated in your system. During this process, one might experience some side effects, such as, fatigue, weakness, diarrhea, muscle aches, headaches, bloating, bad breath, nausea, and possibly acne. However, these side effects may vary, depending on the person, and you may experience something, that someone else may not. These effects are normal, but I am going to list a few pointer’s that may help you overcome your side effects.

Drink a lot of water, for, colon cleansing requires a lot of water consumption, in order to keep the body hydrated. In addition, taking electrolyte balancing solutions, may help reduce the nausea and headaches. Broth’s and soups are a good way to maintain and balance your electrolyte.

Vitamin C is a good supplement to take, when having your colon cleansed, for it can help restore some of the good bacteria, that has been flushed out during the cleansing process.

Exercising regularly will help flush out toxins quicker, for it causes you to sweat, releasing the harmful toxins quicker out of your system.

Yeast flakes are also helpful, plus they are a high source of vitamin B and minerals.

Finally, try and consume as much food, as you can, for the herbs used in the colon cleansing recipe, will continue to eliminate the waste from the food you have consumed, and release all the waste matter that may be stuck within the walls of your colon.
